Went to Albany for the second day in a row today. Today we had breakfast with many Assembly & Senate members. We were seated with, Owen, Raia, Saladino, & talked often with Fields.
There message to us is to send those letters when we have an issue.
Willie
P.S. When the Coalition was first talked about It was posted here how this was an attempt by willie to get you dues money. How much have you payed? I guess things will never change. |

Glad to hear you were able to make it up there again today Willy. Also glad to hear all went well.
You know its sad to hear somebody said that about the NYCRF. Seems they were against the Coalition from the very beginning.

He was told by many of the Club representatives that attended the two meetings that they didn't want a NEW organization. Mr. Young's reply was to curse and scream at everyone. How unprofessional!
Why don't you call up Bill Lomnicki or Chuck Hollins. They will tell you the same thing.

Looks to me like the NYCRF is doing a good job with the support from all of its members. _________________ Tom Farrell

Thanks Tom and Willie and the others who made the personal sacrifice to make the trip to Albany and represent the fisherman !!
Lots of good news lately, good luck with your meeting with Lesko, things look very promising. Everyone has put a tremendous amount of effort into getting Shoreham Beach reopened, we have stayed the course and it looks like it is going to pay off soon. |

was to be announced i mean hear your owen name over the speakers in the assembly room inbetween bill hearings
so cool
this morning we sat with saladino raia and owen and we chatted over breakfast
any time you ever see willie
just say thank you

Yes that post about me was made in Nov. of 05 shows no matter how you try some people will always be against you.
Also sad that this thread was about a fishing rights org. that was against us on the Brodsky bill . They not too long ago told me and many others that I was a small fish in a big pond and to stay out of a N.Y.S. rec. fishing issue. Sad when all they want to do is make you dance to their tune.

I don't personally know you guys but I do know from years as an officer in a local Trout Unlimited Chapter just how difficult some people can make your unpaid, volunteer job. Willy and the rest of you volunteers, THANK YOU for your selfless giving. Screw the nay sayers.

Thanks Scout; It does not faze me. What I do not like is their distortion of events in an attempt to turn people against the Coalition.

In speaking to Assemblyman Sweeney he said that he is still working on getting a bill to ban gill nets in state parks.

| i have been a lurker her for a while nowandfinally wanted to put something up. i know that the coalition does alot of good and i dont want to knock them but the issue of dues came up. i am a LIBBA meber and I pay dues but they are not a 501(c)(6) charitable organization. i was considering joing the coalition but was just curious about that. a 501(c)(6) organization can lobby for or against politicians and different bills. the officers can also be paid to be officers out of the dues moneis collected. a 501(c)(3) or other similar orgs cant. does the coalition pay their officers? |

No one is on the payroll. If you are a member of L.I.B.B.A. you are part of the Coalition. However there is individual membership.
