awakening the pre-dawn hours and fishing night shifts ever
meant anything to you, then you would know what we're all
about. If hunger could be controlled by the anticipations of
an explosion whilst working a popper then you would know who
we are. If sleep can be conquered by those super productive
nights then you are sure to know where Surfrats.com hails
from. If surf casting and the hunt for rock fish has
become a religion then you are sure to know all about us and
perhaps yourself.
This website was started for a specific reason. It is meant to
cater to a unique community of surfcasters - Serious
surfcasters who hail from all walks of life.
A common place, a
medium is long missing for this community where the hunt has
perfected to an art form of skills, knowledge and comradery.
Sportsmanship, conversation and the protection of fishing
rights is the ideal model for which we stand and strive for.
We plan to reach out to the younger generation just entering
the sport to guide them with the proper foundation in paving
their way to become the future of this sport.
